How long did it take the producers to switch around the ballots so Jeffy could get the most suspenseful coount possible? Wow! 4-1 Jason! The guy is toast! Bye
bye Jason! No, it 4-2, no 43, no, it's a tie! WAIT', OZZIE IS VOTED OUT!

I think what the topic creator is trying to say is that the way the votes were ordered, it looked like Jason was going.
The way Jeff pulled them out, being 4-1 for Jason, it seemed obvious Jason was toast. I was pleasantly surprised. |

I remember reading in an interview that one of the contestants did, and they said that Jeff reads the votes in the voting booth and puts them in the most
suspenseful order before returning to tribal council. But really, I think its so he can memorise the tally, so he doesn't sound like a fuckwit when
he's reading the votes.
There was one episode in some season where Jeff read enough votes for some contestant to be voted out, but didn't realise it, so he kept reading them until it was like 7-1-1. I guess he needs an voting intervention each episode. |

I think it was in one of the DVD commentaries that he goes in the back to get the votes and stays back there for a long time. The contestants on the commentary
said it's like a half hour. There's probably a whole discussion by the producers about the most dramatic order.
I think they did a great job this time...reminded me of the Edgardo boot (except I say that one coming). This one caught me off guard because I didn't trust Parvati to go through with it. |

Jeff also made that mistake in Borneo with Gretchen's boot at F10. She was booted 4-1-1-1-1-1-1, but 3 of the 4 Gretchen votes were the last 3 read. I was happy with the way they organized the votes this time. I was pretty mad when it was 4-1 and I thought Ozzy was staying. |

in that 30 minutes they probably roll back the tape to see who wrote what vote. If the votes between Jason and Ozzy they'll try to pull their votes first,
etc.
Plus with this vote, HAD Ozzy played the idol I think Jeff may have read them Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy....Jason, Jason...Bye bye Jason. So he may have had piles or something, lol |

That's also possible. They didn't do that when Yau used the idol though.
Another time they arranged the votes this way was F7 in Vanuatu, when Eliza had 3 and Leann had 1, then the rest were Leann. |

The first votes Jeff shows are almost always the same votes that are shown on television when the person is voting. I always notice the handwriting and look
for clues that way, and they are rare. I never thought about it before this, but that means they are usually making a good guess as to which voters they will
show on t.v. Maybe they do actually watch the footage.

They can't rearrange the votes in the event of an idol because it's played after the votes are rearranged by Probst.

I think the actual reason why it was so suspenseful is that for once you weren't sure if everyone was voting with their alliance. Most of the time it's
like oh these two people said they were going to vote for Ozzy say, and then there's like 2 people who you're not sure about but then you see that
third vote and so you can usually figure that there's a fourth vote and so on. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else ... but yeah I think the
editors just did a really good job of not letting us know how everyone was going to vote before tribal, for once.

those dicks really made me think it was jason going home, not just with the reading of jason's votes first but also because just after the fourth of his
votes are read, it cuts to Cirie and she looks dissapointed, in a kind of "damn, cudda got rid of ozzy" way.
