I was not impressed with Brooke at all and thought she should have been cut loose. I thought her version of Hero was uninspired. Kristy actually surprised me.
She took two pop songs(Faithfully and the one she did last night) and made them good vehicles for the billboard country chart, putting her stamp onto the songs
she sings.

7th place finishers have included one of the very best finalists ever (Jennifer) and one of the very worst (Sanjaya). The other five, including Kristy, have
all been average and I think all of them deserved to finish somewhere around the middle. I do think Brooke should have gone last night instead, but it's
not a travesty like Michael's booting was. Instead of whining, Kristy fans should be VERY happy she 1) made the top 12 at all (unlike Alaina and Kady); 2)
made the tour; and 3) finished far enough in that she'll surely get signed by a country label and have an actual career (unlike Brooke and Syesha, who will
be gone soon and vanish back into obscurity). Yes, she might have lasted another week or two, but in the long run it won't matter a bit.

I'll fully admit that she was improving, but that was only after getting about a hundred breaks earlier on. She only made the top 50 by the skin of her
teeth, was easily one of the worst in the field in those top 24/20 rounds, and was kept around after "Eight Days a Week." Whether or not she
deserved to go on this particular week is more than outweighed by the fact that she never should have made it this far to begin with.
