She needs to stop making grimacing faces while she is singing. She appears like she is trying to force a turd out that is lodged side ways in her rectum.

She finally LOOKED the part of a star tonight, and Simon doesn't even mention it.
They obviously want a guy winner, but I HATE how they can never (besides Paula) give her any positive feedback. Ugh, I think she'll stay until final 5 but then she's at risk, I am hoping for final 4. |

I thought Carly did really well last night! Without you is a very difficult song requiring a lot of range. I do think she tends to get screechy when she
tries to belt but that could be from not enough vocal training and it could be fixed IMO. Her voice isn't as clear as others, it's kind of gritty and
raw but I like that.
I threw a few votes her way.... |

She irritates me for some reason. I agree with Simon that she
overthinks every note and it's not good. She may make it to the final four, but I think she's gone after that. |

I voted for your potato last night SHC. She was better than they gave her credit for and she finally covered up the bingo wings too. Here's hoping

While others may not think she has a good voice, I definitely do. However that song choice did more to show more of what she CANNOT do more than what she
could do. She was compared to Mariah, Leona (gag) and Kelly. Did she sing it badly, hardly. Did she sing it to the standard many/most people are used to? No.
Doesn't mean she's a bad singer...she sang it well. If we hadn't heard those other versions first, the feeling about it may have been very
different.

Honestly seaguy are you at all surprised he told her her version was only okay when it's a song Leona sang? She could have blew the roof off that place with her performance and he still would have given her negative comments even though her farting on stage would be better than Leona's version. |

What's weird is that she not only fell short of Mariah, but she fell short of herself, too. We've heard her hit those big notes before, but last night
it seemed like she kept cutting herself off, like she was scared to just go for it. She was the weakest of the night, along with Brooke.

All we do in here is accept the obvious. Last week we were all pretty much dreading her elimination and we're aware that she could go this week too. We've also acknowledged that there's no way in hell she's winning and she'll probably go by Top 5. What obvious thing is it that we're refusing to accept? We just love her, just like everyone else is with their favourite. As for the title of the thread if any of us had started it it would have changed by now but the thread starter isn't around. |

Strahlx is around - he's just embarassed about this thread. I think the producers want her to go. Her husbands face was prominently featured last night. Usually they show him with a veil of darkness. |

The lightning bolt clip is fantastic. It sums up everything that's wrong with her makeup without any words. I also think that we Carly fans are realistic
about her chances. I'd love for her to win but know she won't. That said, I do think she'll be around next week with Brooke or Syesha going
tonight. She sounded great except for the ending this week, dressed better, and Simon has been so nasty to her that it may generate sympathy votes like it did
for Syesha in previous weeks.

I thought she looked really pretty last night.
Her performance was still tense and nervy though. Every week I hope for her to just relax and let it all out and show us what she can really do. She's fast running out of time now. Bet she is gonna sound magnificent on her singout.
