Why do you all think Ami is such a good player?!?!

Let's say Amanda/Ozzy made the final 3, and Cirie made the Final 4, whereas Ami made Final 6, with a spectacular comeuppance... And then, in this season Amanda, Ozzy, and Cirie out last her... Sure there is luck in Survivor, but you know what, I don't get the idea that siding with the Fans was "really" her best bet at this point in the game. What's to stop her from being the outskirts of a fan alliance come merge. Her best bet was to stick with her tribe until let's say merge, and THEN flip. And really, she had to see that Chet wasn't going to last long, and so alligning with him was dumb. I think at this point in the game Ami's flipping was more about "being in control" than really strategic sense. And yes I found her crying about her loyalty being questioned and not being included to be incredibley self righteous. (Unless it was a ploy to get others to keep her) Talk about being self delisional. People say that Ozzy is the one who is self righteous and doesn't play the game, but seriously I think Ami is the one with this problem. (It's okay for Ami to form an alliance that doesn't include Ozzy/Amanda, but how dare they do the same to her.. )

Yes, luck is a part of Survivor of course, but Ami has a good hand in Vanatua and managed to implode. To say that she's a better player than A/C/O, when A/C/O have gone farther than her twice is pushing it... Then she had yet another good plan to get rid of Ozzy, but Amanda and Cirie decided to follow Ozzy instead of voting for Erik. Like everybody has said - good player, bad hand. She played the best she could with the cards she was dealt. Shitty players (Joel, Chet) fucked up her game.

There have been plenty of players in the past who have been fucked over like that, but they make it out great. Its because they always have a plan B. Ami is clearly not one of those players.

She was trying to come up with something that would allow her to stay in this games as long as possible. Whereas Amanda and Cirie seemt to be quite content with their strategy/alliance. It's almost as if they don't want to do anything beyond their voting block, which is quite pathatic if you ask me. They used C/T/E to get rid of Joel, then they took up Chet on his offer toquit, then they just picked Tracy off, because they knew they had the numbers, and nothing else. And now they are going to continue their complacency when they meet up with P/J. ami, at least tried to do something different, and at least tried to create a strategy on the go. You can't compare that to dumb complacency on the part of C/A.

Why the hell would Cirie & Amanda want to join up with the fans and potentially give them the advantage in the tribe AND at the merge, plus there is absolutely no reason to vote out Ozzy this early. As Parvati stated, he will be a huge target at the merge.

And as for Ami, she got a reputation for being "fabulous" for some reason, but it was smoke & mirrors. A sober examination of her gameplay in both seasons reveals many flaws that have NOTHING to do with how weak or strong others were; it's about how deluded she becomes when she believes she has a smidgen of power.
