Jasmine had ONE good performance and that was "Inseparable". Period. Listen to a Jasmine performance. Then listen to a Ramielle performance. They have the same vocal inflections. Ramielle is better with the big notes and has a stronger voice, but Jasmalien has a better lower register (when not flat) and a prettier, more subtle voice.

I listened to MORE than enough Jasmine performances. Even the Costco tour one. Jasmine is/was terrible. They aren't even in the same league. Ramiele hasn't hit any bum notes at all. Many may consider her boring, but at least she sings in tune.

But I kind of felt bad when Ryan was interviewing Danny and Ramiele swiftly puts her hands on her mouth to prevent her crying. It was also funny when Kady was eliminated and Ramiele had to crane her neck up, way up to look at Kady's face.

Out of everyone's performances (both the men and women) I thought hers was the best along with Hernandez. It's a boring song, but her vocals were flawless. She really does have the best voice out of the entire Top 12, she just needs to stop picking overdone songs. If she picked lesser known songs that she wouldn't be compared to, she'd knock it out of the park. <3 Ramiele. This season all it takes is one performance to get a spike in popularity (like David C.), and the opposite happened with this underrated performance.

I agree with Pauler (gasp) that she has a texture about her voice, that power note transitioning into her lower register at the end was great. I've had her Against All Odds in my head all day. >_< Ramiele for the pimp spot! I don't know how she'll do with a Beatles song, I don't really know any big power ballads she could do.

Posts: 909 (03/09/08 8:05 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	she just needs to learn how to let and go and sing. randy hit it on the nail when he said it seems like she's thinking when she sings instead of just singing and performing. as of now, she's just too restrained. i'm all for subtlety, less runs, trills, and whatever, but there's still a sense of passion that seems to be lacking right now. she'll vault into the Top 5 easily if she picks it up, but if she continues with her run of vocally sound, but passionless and dull performances, she can easily get lost in the shuffle. which would be a shame because she's one of the better personalities and technical singers on the show (miles better than Jasmine that's for sure).
