I didn't really know how much I wanted David to make it through till Ryan actually called his name and I got all nervous!
Good for him. He deserved to make it through on his decent vocals. Now he just needs to start picking decent songs! |

I'm absolutely shocked that he made it through. And if that "bullshit" thing about Hernandez and Archuleta already being watched by record
producers is true, then color me flabergasted. I thought the gae stripper storyline had him done for sure.
Oh well, vocally he's the best of the males, he's the potential dark horse who can go far, but I doubt he wins. As he gets farther and farther the stripper shit will probably be shoved down our throats more. |

Just watch. If not the first, he'll be one of the first three.First three's a lot different than leaving at top 12, because the last of the three gets to make the tour. I have no idea where he'll place. Jacuzzi may get more votes, since he's the only black guy (although that didn't help Brandon Rogers). The stripper stuff can't help. I think if he picks the right songs he can at least make the tour. Either way, both this week and the top 24 week were weeks where he would have gone if he had a weak fanbase, so he apparently has a lot more fans than I realized. |

I'm thinking he'll make at least the top 10. I think TPTB want him on tour. He'll especially make the top 10 if he chooses good songs and performs
well. I don't know where he'll place after that, but I hope he goes far. He's definitely one of the best talents this year. I would love to see him
become this year's Elliott by unexpectedly making the final three, but I highly doubt he'll make it that far.

I have no clue. They probably think 12 are too many contestants or maybe they save the 11th place and 12th place finalists in case they need backups.

I had that feeling that the stripper thing would be significant. Either it would blow up in his face and he would be out or his fans would go into a frenzy and
save him, which wound up happening. To be fair he did have a good performance this week, at least in my opinion, but the guy has the same amount of charisma as
an elementary school student in a talent show. Thats even being kind to him, he wont last.

Not usually no. But I have a feeling he'd be bland at that too. His most embarassing moment was that he had a booger in his nose during a photo shoot. That was the epitome of bland. It's not like anyone was going to see the pictures. (And gay strippers can definitely be bland) |
