This was one of those challenges that looked good on paper, but when it played out, it fizzled. The challenge could have been improved by having it played out as follows: The fans sit out one man, the favorites sit out one woman. This leaves eight players on each tribe, four men and four women, eligible to compete. Each tribe has two bags to protect. There are a maximum of three rounds. In each round, the tribe that gets three bags in their end zone wins. The first tribe that wins two rounds wins the challenge. In the first round, the men compete. In the second round, the women compete. In the final round, two men and two women compete. This would create an even match-up in at least the first two rounds and considerably reduce the likelihood of having the guys rough up the girls.
