I am interested in what the Public thinks about the Oceanic 6. They are celebrities, Kate is "one of the most recognized faces in America", they all got very generous settlements from Oceanic airlines. I assume they were found on an island, but not "The Island" as the sole survivors of Flt 815. The story is 8 survived the crash, but two were critical and Kate the Hero couldn't save them, so six were alive at rescue. Plus a bouncing baby boy named Aaron, who is known to exist by Kate's lawyer and her mother, so I assume that the Public knows. Also implied is that the Public knows of a Kate /Jack love affair, implying that Aaron is the spawn of surviving on a island for a long time before rescue (as if Gilligan and Maryanne had bunked together in a coed hut) and Jack is generally thought to be Aaron's father.

My question is this (and I might have asked it before): If the passengers and crew were confirmed dead and the plane was identified in the Sundra trench, how do the Oceanic 6 exist? Do the FFs mean that the cover has been blown on the Outside Forces and the The Island Forces have turned the tables on them by "rescuing" the O6. Does this mean that The Public now knows that there was a conspiracy concerning 815 and that fact has made the Outside Forces circle the wagons and diverted them from trying to regain the Island, all by the virtue of the O6's existence?

The Oceanic 6 may have been the means to make a vast submerged conspiracy expose itself......and still protect the Island.
