I had the same thoughts, but it seems logical to me that the producers made sure that there would be enormous amounts of tempting food. Logically speaking, the fatties DO need to learn to control themselves at family gatherings in the future, and an overweight person must not penalize other people by forcing them to cater parties to his or her dietary restrictions. That is something you need to learn to do on your own.

When they went out to a restaurant -- I think it was either Jay or Roger -- one of them mentioned something along the lines of "when they told us to come here" or something like that, so it was clear that the producers MADE them go out and eat. Just like they forced that ridiculous Subway commercial...

Whatever the Blue Team is bawling about next week, it sure won't be nearly as dramatic or important as they'd like us to believe. Promo teasers are always hype with little substance. But, geez... it seems some of you have never grasped the concept of male bonding. The little fatties are cute when they cry. Leave them be. Hush, now.

I am not buying into all this Mark and Jay hate. For what? Playing the game? Advancing? Kicking ass? Never quitting? Face it: OLDER DUDES have the mental power that is needed to tackle this kind of life-challenge.

I'd love to see Mark take this thing, but alas... I don't think he's got enough weight left to lose. So I'll settle for a Roger win.

Exactly I am actually rooting for the Brothers because they are very competitve...and that often gets misunderstood espeically when women are around... Britt and some of the other women thought that Mark was so mean for yelling at his brother.....thats what Brother and good friends do thats how they push each other in competive areas.

Not to mention these are Older dudes that all really played sports at one time or another.... especially Gray team... I know for a fact football practise at Alabama(right thats where they played) was a lot tougher than anything BOB or Jillian are putting them through....

It was funny with the Paul and Wings edit... I thought they just kept showing the same plate being put down over and over...lol..


I think New Black team showed restraints but I dont think they worked out as hard as the others and actually if you think about it the Blue team had the advantage BIG time.... Mark and Jay are brothers live close to each other...each pushing each other....
Dan goes home to Mom who was on his team and knows what this is all about...and still is pushing to lose weight herself

Roger- has so much space and land that he can go walking anytime he wants.... and really him and trent were there for the right reasons not for gameplay but to lose the pounds...

Where as all the Black team people were bascially all on their own......
