Danny, money speaks. Kristen Storms and Jason Cook would be back if the money was there. Knowing Days' track record of firing people, theyd make it happen. Glad to see my Tamara Braun back. Best. Carly. Ever.Money does speak but GH has way more money then DAYS has. Not to mention if DAYS does get renewed in March the budget will probably suffer another huge cut. Anyways Kirsten Storms would cost more money then Martha. |

I guess I'm in the minority here because I didn't shed one tear over Colleen's death. We just met her and didn't have time for much emotional
investment. Now the day they bury Alice is the day I cry like a baby.

^^^^I'm with you!!! I have mixed feelings about the "Colleen is alive and is Ryan DiMera Brady's mother" storyline. First, Shirley Jones knocked the part out of the ballpark. Great job. But why have her pass away after a few episodes (of course this is Days, and she could pop up again). This actually was an interesting storyline, and I really like John Black in it. So much better than most of the crap we've had to endure over the past few years. But just how did Colleen know John was her son? Maybe I missed it. |

I remember when Macdonald Carey died, and I was so looking forward to the episode of his funeral. But, of course, this was when James E. Reilly was head
writer, so there were only one or two returning favorites and one heartfelt eulogy (by Mickey), and then the remaining 45 minutes were about Gina (Hope)
remembering how to open some stupid puzzle box. It was a slap in the face to long-time viewers, and a huge show of disrespect towards Carey. Hopefully, the
writers (whoever they may be) will understand and respect the contributions of Francis Reid.
If Reid should die, she deserves a first-class sendoff surrounded by all the Hortons played (whenever possible) by the original actors, from Mickey and Marie to Jessica and Sandy. Speaking of, wouldn't it be nice if the writers acknowledged that both the actors who played Bill Horton are dead, bring Laura, Jennifer and Mike back for an episode or two, and give the character a proper burial? It would inappropriate for Bill not to be able to come back for his mother's funeral because he's in Africa when we know the actor is dead, and addressing it sooner rather than later would be a way to bring back some fan favorites.

^^^Hey, I'd watch an entire week of just Tigeranne!!!! She could step into the role of Marlena on Monday, Sami on Tuesday, Lexie (for danny) on Wednesday,
Hope on Thursday, and since she'll have put in a tough week and needs some rest, Maggie on Friday. But Friday's clffhanger will have to show Jan and
Kewpie brainwashing Tigeranne and returning her to the land of remote controls and fast forward.
danny...how did you feel about the Colleen storyline? So much of it made no sense to me. But I loved Shirley Jones in the role. |

It will be the first time in nearly 20 years all Bradys are in town (not counting faux Bradys - Max and Frankie).
Until Frank Parker is removed from the credits, I'll give credence to the possibility neither Colleen nor Shawn is truly dead. They didn't remove Drake Hogestyn from the credits when John was gone, so I won't believe it until Parker's name is dropped. If Shawn is written out, it's a shame because his scenes in the past year with Stephano have been some of his finest work. |

Didn't care for the EJ/Sami angle to it. I do wish Shirley could of stayed a bit longer and we could of had a Stefano/Colleen scene. Rumor is that Ken Corday had to rehire the entire writing staff since it was illegal to fire them during the strike. I doubt Hogan will stay with the show (Why stay when your not wanted.) Also, looks like Higley could be gone as well. She never went Fi-Core and the NY Times outed her as writing for the show. Rumors are that Ken is looking for a thrid party to become Head Writer. Also, Tom Casiello (sp?) shed alot of light on the behind the scenes. The writers don't have much say in alot of storylines. The executive producers decide alot of the storylines, which characters can be used and what sets to use. I just pray Dena Hackley is gone soon. |

I cried when Colleen died.Me too. But I can't help but think she's still with us (even with the hokey visions of young Collen with that pervert Santos). Marlena's comment about Colleen being creamated which is not a typical Irish thing to do. So, I won't be surprised if she pops up again. |

On Tom Casiello's MySpace page, at the top, it says this... I'd love to see Tom as Head Writer. I hope he gets the job. The guy loves the show and has been posting blogs for awhile. He also was the script writer that wrote the 2 John's funeral episodes and Shelle's wedding. 3 episodes that I thought were really well done. |
