Honestly, I dont think eriks gameplay was that bad. He was in the majority alliance at zhun hu (sp?). He was the one that origianlly came up with the idea to throw the challenge. He never made any enemies and even though contestants at the reunion said pg would have won i really done believe that. PG annoyed alot of people an erik was well liked by J.R., Jamie, Frosti, Amanda, Todd and Denise. I think the only one that had issues with him was James (per the insider video). He also tried to save himself and didnt just sit back and except his fate. Unfortunatley every season has a "quiet nice guy" and erik was this seasons. Are you kidding me? Sure, I think Erik is a nice guy, and I LOVE his two closest allies, but he was a terrible player of Survivor. He was not the one who came up with the idea to throw the challenge, that was PG... and PG confirmed it with Jaime first. And he didn't really try to save himself at all... at the final 8 reward challenge he tried to convince Courtney/Amanda to get rid of PG next. Him and Frosti were both just trying to be the last Zhan Hu's rather than trying to maybe turn the tables. And of course PG would have won if she made the finals... this cast obviously appreciated someone who played the game well, and if she would have made it to the finals she would have deserved it.
Not to diss Erik, I like the guy, but I don't think he was a very good player of the game of Survivor.
