I guess I wasn't as clear as I wanted to be in my first post. It seemed to me that the way Todd played the game was edited in a positive way. He was shown connecting with people and forming bonds. When he talked about strategy they often showed support for what he was thinking. They made a big deal of letting him explain all of his James-saving idol strategy. There was enough of all of that shown that I was surprised when Todd told people to take him to the finals because people wouldn't like him.
I suppose if you didn't see the same editing, you wouldn't agree with a mixed tone. I don't need to convince you that it was mixed, I mainly
wanted to comment on people who seemed to be making their own value judgments and ignoring the editing. You may very well have been paying attention to the
editing and still came up with a negative rating. Tone ratings are subjective.
