This one has the editing but none of the characters. CI had neither.

We've seen both good and bad points of each person this season, making them more true to their real personalities and very fleshed out characters. Last season we had only bad points shown of some of the contestants, e.g. Lisi making them seem like bigger characters, when they are actually not, they're just more one dimensional. People can't be completely bad all the time. The make both good and bad desicons and have both good and bad sides to their personality, as is being shiwn in this season. So having both sides of the contestants personality mean you are left to make your own mind up about the characters and not have a certain edit rammed down your throat telling you which players to like and which to dislike. IMO, their are just as many big personalities and characters in this one (Jean Robert, Sherea, Courtney, Peigh Gee) it's just that they all have a balanced edit, making it harder to pick out someone who you dislike / like.

The twist started to piss me off, but it didn't really mess things up. I've enjoyed each show and I still like a few of the remaining contestants, so that's a good thing for me.

Dare I say it, it even seems a bit fake. I'm curious why you say that. Does it seem like acting? Or is it just so good that, in comparison to the last few turds, it's too good to be true? Are you seriously suggesting that, after fourteen seasons, they're simply just going to try to pull a fast one and just 'make up' a season? For your sake, I certainly hope not. The twist started to piss me off, but it didn't really mess things up. It's funny....a lot of us hated the twist at first, but after the drama it caused last night (which wouldn't have happened otherwise), I doubt a single person would still wish it was removed.

Wheel barrel endurance challenge? Gawd. Some of them falling off looked so, how shall we say, not genuine. ps: James acting da fool = uhm yeah. Last week's Courtney/Frostie budding showmance = ditto, quite a gripping love story going on.
