Posts: 30925 (10/19/08 6:17 PM) Not a Registered User anymore Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Estate of Panic combines the thrill of facing primal fears (drowning, bugs, small spaces, etc.) with the edginess of high-stakes hide-and-seek - and winners walk away with bags of money. Every week, a new group of contestants enters the estate to find hidden money in a new room or section of the grounds mined with phobic situations. In Estate of Panic it's winner-take-all, so players have to prevent the others from advancing while overcoming their own fears. After three challenges, two people are eliminated and any money they've won is added to the pot. The last person standing faces a final challenge in the Vault Room. The host is Steve Valentine, famous for his role as Dr. Nigel Townsend on Crossing Jordan. He has also appeared on shows like Will & Grace and Dharma & Greg, and in feature films like Spider Man III, Mars Attacks and Return to the Secret Garden. I've been seeing promos for this episode and I can not wait. Although I hear there's only six contestants so I'm not sure how long it's going to last....

Estate of Panic turns nightmares into reality and pushes phobias to the limit. Each week, a new group of contestants enter the estate searching for money hidden inside of booby-trapped rooms. The walls in one cave in, creating a hopelessly small space. Can the contestants survive it? Then thousands of creepy, crawling bugs line the walls and floor of another room, and flooding water rises by the second in another. Throughout it all, contestants must remain calm because if they panic, they won't get paid. The game begins with seven contestants who compete in three nerve-wracking challenges. After each challenge two are eliminated and their winnings are added back into the prize pot. The last person standing faces a final challenge in the Vault Room. In Estate of Panic it's winner-take-all - if players can overcome their fears. I guess these are actors pretending to be contestants in the promos?

I'll probably end up catching repeats during the week, or maybe dvring it to watch later. Fuck that collapsing study, I would have been out of there damn quick. I'm crazy claustrophobic. Chase was fun, but I could see it getting old quick if they don't have different ways to mix it up in future episodes. I mean, how many times can you watch people play hide and seek?

Overall, it was much better than last week - due primarily to SCREAMING women and snakes everywhere - and the room where they got stuck to the floor was hilarious, especially when the one guy's pants got ripped off. One more thing - the sewers and pipes were disgusting - and I can't imagine being claustrophobic and being there!

I liked the shocking garden last week and it looks like they're going to have some more shocking next week. Nothing else on and this is somewhat entertaining. It's not too bad and the chicks screaming like little girls is a plus. The creepy dude is a little cheesy, but Rupert is cool. We need more Rupert.

It's one or the other, but I remember the gay radio host winning the first Survivng Nugent (Tila Tequila's de-butt and the French hoar prefumed boy being hosed off then eliminated first) , followed by the girl winning the second. Then it turned into Wanted: Ted or Alive, and it was between him and a white boy in the finale (a close canoe race in the swamp at the end). I remember that latino boy was always gettin naked and the girls laughing at his short-comings. I miss those shows.
