Not only that, but the place caters to men only, which was awesome. I got there early so I opted to wait in the massage chair with a cold Diet Coke. The other choice was to play on one of two internet stations. Nice!
When Sarah returned from lunch she sat me down and told me I was getting, in addition to a haircut, a shampoo before AND after the cut, a gentle face wash and massage, and a scalp massage. In addition to that she dipped my hands in paraffin wax and then wrapped them up in mits. I'm not sure what the point of that was but I got a kick out of it.
OK, so after it was all done she asks if I want to book another appointment next month. I'm like "Maybe. I have this other guy I've been going to for 3 years!" She says "I understand." and I say "How much does all that cost...what I had done today?"
She says...........................you won't believe this.............................$37.
WHAT?!?!?!
I've been paying $45 for a haircut alone.
I booked it!
So now, the problem.........how do I tell Craig I'm leaving him?
See, the thing is....Craig is not only my stylist, but he's also a friend. And a customer. Well he was. I designed and sold him a closet system 2 years ago. He spent $4,000 on it.
