I thought it was pretty bad. I mean, the acting was good, but that's mostly because Ellen Page is generally awesome, as is Catherine Keener, although
Page's character came across as a wussy and Keener's an irredeemable cunt. Which she was, though.
But the movie itself, the directing, was terrible. It was plodding, the ending was botched as hell, and the entire structure (the going back and forth between testimonies and the actual story) was kind of sloppy. There's a reason it went straight to video, Fez. |
