And I never understood Paula bitching about her singing the same song. I think we only saw Aliceyn once before she was in the wildcard, right? She sang that song as often as when KLo sang "Over the Rainbow", Ruben sang "Superstar" and Josh sang "I'll Be" more than once. Right?

The audience literally gasped with the latter's opening notes. Sheer magic. Sadly neither lived up to their musical potential and by the end of the season they were both in the ruts that they seemed destined to continue as long as they're stuck with RCA/J Records. I thought all the songs were catchy, and they seemed to fall in his sweet spot, vocally speaking. Of course it helps to have a descent range.

It was THAT song that put Kim on the viewing public's radar (and the monkey wrench that could have potentially screwed up Nigel Lythgoe's "Ruben vs. Clay" final two)
