Will, "Canadians man, they're horrible. I don't know if it's just the ones from Ontario or what but they're horrible" then he goes off on Cubans........ A lot of them smell kind of woodsy (i think it's their ethnic food. Maple syrup just drips outta their pores), and they treat their elderly horribly, leaving them on ice flows to perish. For gods sake, until last year, i heard that they didn't allow dogs as housepets. But what can you expect from a nation with so few people that they only have 2 area codes. I mean,don't get me wrong, they should have the same rights as any other nation, but they shouldn't always be getting special treatment. I'd hate to be lying on an operating table looking up at a Canadian doctor (ick) thinking did you get this job because you're qualified, or because you're a Canadian. They should stick to their own kind, that's all. Go will.

For once I'll agree with Will. Snowbirds are whiny ass old Canadian farts who feel the world owes them everything. Winters are the best time in Canada due to Hockey and less old farts. Its like a hundred thousand Canadian versions of the Costanzas from Seinfeld invading Florida. I'd have hunting season on them if I lived there.

They can't be all bad! What we have here is of the North looking down on the South thing going on. Alaskans think they are better than anyone south of them including the lower 48, Canadians think they're better than the Americans (as they proudly point out how they know more about Amer. geography and history than the typical Amer. does about Canada's. America is split between the North believing (knowing) they're better than the South. And of course N.Calif thinking they're better than the S. Calif. (In most states its usually the case VA,IL,NY.etc.)USA thinks they are better than Mexico and S. America. In Italy, the North thinks they are better than the South. On Guam, the north part of the Island verses the south. Hell, this is a problem throughout the world. I had a master's student from P. Rico who said the maps in his schools were posted upside down. When I inquired as to what that was supposed to do for the students, he stated it made a big difference. They were above the U.S. I guess its all in how you look at it.

They paid practically ziltch towards their Social Security, own houses that have quadrupled in value since they bought them but b**** and moan every time school taxes go up. They get their coupons and their early bird specials and discounts everywhere and stiff the waitress so save for their next cruise. They may have retired at 65, but I'll still be working because the thousands I pay in SS each year goes to them not me.

I live in a retirement community in ONTARIO, CANADA (although I'm a younger person) and these old folks who head to Fla each winter are a sweet bunch. As usual, Will doesn't know what he's talking about. For someone who deferred his med school so that he could go to business school and law school (yeah, right) he's sure a dumbass! :) Anything I post is just for fun so if you don't like it-BITE ME!

In the summer, whenever I get out on the highway I end up behind one or two of these old geezers with their hats and barely seeing above the steering wheel, driving with one old shrivelled up foot on the brake. I get a chuckle just thinking about Mickey Mouse having to put his arm around these drooling diaper wearing old coots and getting their pictures taken to come back next year and force us to look at them.

I have known 2 Canadians closely, one is a great guy and the other played some serious games with my head......not to mention helped me rack up a $200 phone bill then bailed to the ends of the earth. I will no longer dump all Canadiens into the same barrel because of the annoying habits of the few on this board. Canadians watch a LOT of american channels: our cable channels and our off-the-air/broadcast channels such as NBC, ABC, etc. Why? Because canadian TV SUCKS ASS. This is no joke. Their TV channels and shows suck old man's ass. I have personally checked out what kinds of channels and TV shows they have created in Canada. The one exception is that they have more hard-core porn on TV there than America has. They have looser porn laws than America. OK enough about TV. In many other ways Canada is also inferior to America. So what happens is that they become jealous and develop a huge inferiority complex. This causes them to boast excessively about their nation at every opportunity and make stupid jokes against America. You ask them what makes Canada so great and they can't tell you. You ask them what's wrong with America and they can't tell you. They have no real basis for believing these things. It just makes them feel better. The more boorish and loud-mouthed Canadians are the ones we see on the internet bragging for no legitimate reason about their country and bashing America. Yes, there are some Canadians who don't act like this on the internet, but not enough. Notice Canada doesn't have its own Big Brother show or its own Survivor show. They just watch ours. ~Richard~
