I know it's a bit old, but there are constantly reruns and I'm addicted to them.
I love Charlotte York. |

The syndicated reruns are HORRIBLE!!! They cut the best filth and entire subplots. Get it on DVd or watch it on HBO if available.

I know. They're pretty bad. I've watched most of a friend's DVD (I think season two?) and I might buy the whole series because I don't have any individual season and it's cheaper to buy the set.

Is there a more self-centered character in TV history than Carrie Bradshaw? For me, this show was all about Miranda and Charlotte.

Miranda was the most BORING character. How anyone found her sexy was beyond me. The Season 1-3 days were so bad for her. Her hair was so fiery red and she would wear that deep red lipstick. She looked HORRIBLE.
And SJP is one of the WORST actresses. How many times did she just randomly burst into tears? And they were so fake. Charlotte and Samantha love. |

I thought Carrie was a big-time bitch too. I did grow to like her at the end and want her with Big but Season 4 I was all about Aidan and she just ripped his heart out.
LOVED LOVED LOVED the other girls though. |

Quote: Miranda was my favorite character. Cynical, sarcastic and says what's on her mind. Just about like every typical poster here at Sucks. |

I actually like the reruns the editing actually brings a fresh perspective... just seeing Big as his sexy self is a joy
SJP was the most insipid character and she is a bad actress her post show work proves it which is why I think she reconsidered the whole movie as Carrie is all she is... Miranda rocked as the most geniune and realistic of women...whereas I adored of course Samantha as the gay man she is and Charlotte was a throwback character the ideal... the adorable Kristen Davis made it work.. she was all heart. And Seaguy..why is it Seattleites love those fugly Croc shoes.. I feel it is disrespectful to all things SATC. |

HBO has this series on-demand right now. I think they're in the middle of season 3.
I always thought this show was about 4 gay men in NYC, played by 4 women. |

"I couldn't help but wonder..." and "In a city that..." are equally repetitive and nauseating. She says them in at least 3/4 of the episodes.

Try: "It was that point I/Miranda/Charlotte/Samantha realized..." "In the Upper/Lower East/West side.....Meanwhile, on the Lower/Upper West/East side..." |

Samanatha and Miranda are the best characters by far. Charlotte was too prissy for my tastes, that and Kirsten Davis can't act. She did what she could though.

Loved all the girls...except Carrie.
Samantha & Charlotte were my favs, but Miranda was right on their heels. All so close. LOVED them. <3 Carrie...ugh. She's like the Susan Meyer of the show. (Well, I know...Susan is the Carrie of DH, but yeah). So many memorable moments. I owe alot to SATC. If it weren't for SATC there would be no DH. |

Love this show. I just rented all the seasons this past spring and got so hooked. I loved Aiden but I was all about Carrie with Big. My favorite girl is Charlotte though.

Kristin Davis came a long way. She's pretty bad in season one, but you can see her starting to get better (used to Charlotte?) as the series progresses. I thought she was great by the end. But I mostly just love the look she gives in awkward moments.
Aiden was such a tool. Oh my God. I hated him. I always felt like he was being melodramatic. I'm scared to say this, but the one I hate the most is Stanford. A.) Eww! B.) I don't think anything he ever said was funny, but Carrie acts like he's hilarious. C.) Eww again. D.) Samantha is the only gay man on SATC necessary for my viewing pleasure. |

Awww...I loved Stanford. Kristin Davis did get better and better each season. She really brought depth to the role.

I agree about Kristin Davis, she did improve as time went on. I also think that Cynthia Nixon got a better stylist as the seasons went on, and looked much more attractive.
I'm watching right now, it's the one where Carrie is in the fashion show and falls on the runway. Unfortunately that annoying fuck Mario Cantone is in this episode screaming like a banshee, as always. Quote: |
