I find myself not at ALL impressed with this premiere.
I know Anderson is gone. But still, this new guy is very robotic...and too impersonal.
The new music is bad. Honestly, just bad.
The contestants all seem cocky and crabby. Not enough variety of lifestyles and age groups.
Bad editing and production as well. Random commercial breaks, with no teases to try and keep me watching. I swear there was one segment about 40 minutes in,
that lasted about 90 seconds.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for the original like everyone else...but that's what makes Survivor's concept still watchable. It was watchable to begin
with, so don't mess with a good formula.
I'm a huge Mole fan, but I have to admit...I could find myself missing weeks of this show, and not caring. That's never a good sign.

I enjoyed the premiere! The host was surprisingly not bad...just a tad robotic like you said. The cast seems very colourful, and the tasks were entertaining. I
did think the music was bad though...what happened to the old execution music? I loved that...and yes, TOO many commercial breaks!

The commercial breaks were really awkward, and the music did kinda sucked but taking that all into consideration, esp with the new host, I thought it was

Yeah, it really sucked.
-The new host is awful. Jesus Christ. Anderson Cooper is a goddess and no one can live up to him. But the new guy sounds like an announcer on a nightly entertainment news program, which is understandable but entirely inappropriate. I hate him. -The music sucks. -Why don't they just type in the names and cut the faux techno bullshit... -The cast is pretty asstrocious. The people were so much more subtle, sneaky, and most importantly, intelligent. Now we get that fucking loud fratboy. I hope he dies. |

The editing was AWFUL and very amateurish. I really want the old music to come back and those little teasers before each commercial break. I'm giving it a
shot, but it even seemed a little...fake to me

I loved it!!!
-Who cares about the damn host.. -Who cares about the damn music (which wasn't that bad actually, thought it was the original music at first) -The cast is awesome (and keep in mind this was just the first episode) |

This cast is awesome, and tops the first two amateur seasons in terms of personality. |

The whole ambiance was off. Some random waterfalls can't match up to the drama of the castles and old forts and stuff they were seeing in Europe. The new
host wasn't subversive. The players weren't as subversive. It felt more like Big Brother than the Mole, which was always kind of subtle.
Meh. It's early... but it's off on the wrong foot for me. |

I liked it. The host did the job he's supposed to do, and he's nice to look at. The tasks were cool. The contestants seemed interesting. And I
don't have a clue who The Mole is. That's good enough for me. Besides, what the hell else is there to watch this summer?

Atmosphere can make or break a visual piece(tv show or movie).Mole 1 and Mole 2 had great atmosphere. Creepy and dramatic music, an espionage theme, great editing.This one sucked, but I'll give it benifit of the doubt |

I didnt really get into the first mole until the 2nd episode. I think what really makes the show are the tasks. I enjoyed it, too many commercials, but im not
bitching
the only seething hatred I have is for that touch-screen execution. Yuck. |

Anderson Cooper is no longer the host. He has no longing to come back at all.
When you stop thinking about The Mole in terms of how good it is compared to Anderson's seasons, it's actually pretty fucking good. |

People are delusional about how good the old seasons were. The production is MUCH better now, and the cast is more entertaining too.
Those quiet, "sneaky," contemplative types? Yeah, that's one reason why the show failed the first time. There have been two seasons of The Mole since Anderson left, so get over that too. |

The host was better than I thought he'd be. He said something that made me LOL but I forget what. The touch-screen didn't bother me too much.
I'm sure they wanted the old music back but I remember hearing it on Joe Schmo...mayhaps the licensing got sold or something. This music is a reasonable substitute. I though it was especially effective during the execution. & the cast is aces so far. If anything I thought the challenges (well, the second one at least) were a little hohum. And even though I knew Marcie was going, the editors sure didn't try to make it a secret. |

I second that as well. Everything is WAY too over the top and fake. The cast has too much personality (i.e. mactors) and just seems dumb. The host blows with
his over trained radio voice and he stresses excitement at the wrong moment...always. The editing is crappy. And WTF was with that stupid touch screen at the
end with 5 hour long pauses? I'm hoping it gets better cause the only good thing left is the game concept. If I were a first time watcher, I would totally
pass this.

The music wasn't THAT bad.
It was VERY reminiscent of the original. Those murder mystery strings, etc. Buncha Dr. Whiners!!!! |
