I've never played it either and I googled as far as this before losing interest:
Bunco (also Bunko and Bonko) is a parlour game played in teams with three dice. A winning throw in Bunco is to throw three of a kind of a specified number. |

It's a neighborhood thing here. All of the stay-at-home moms get together once a month and play bunco. Very simple game. So easy it doesn't interfere
with gossiping and getting hammered.

My mom belonged to a Bunco Club back in the 50s and 60s. It was cool when it was her turn to host it at our house. I remember going to sleep listening to the
old hens clucking and them ringing these damn bells.
Never did learn the game myself. |
