But Queen PARVARTI'S old Raro instincts have to come to bite her in the ass. Parvarti has become a MAJOR villain now. The chances of she and her little bitches Nat and Alexis being the Final 3. ZERO. Ain't gonna happen. <Dana Carvey doing George HW Bush>NA! GA! DUH!</DCSGHWB> CIRIE'S been outplaying the HELL out of Parvarti. She wasn't given the CREDIT for the Ozzy boot, but she also didn't receive the BLAME. IF she gets into the F3, she's getting the million. GUARANTEED. The PROBLEM with Cirie is that Parvati freaking KNOWS Cirie is her "only" obstacle. So she's going to HAVE to fck over Cirie. And Cirie has ten times the brains of Parvarti. She's not going to be disposable. Screw with her, and there's going to be HELL to pay. Parvarti's Achilles Heel is the same one she had on Cook Islands. She's willing to ally with people she IDENTIFIES with over who's better strategically. Parvarti's choice of Alliance members seems to be: 1) White over minority. 2) 20-Something, or at least "Young at Heart" over "Old and Icky." 3) Female over Male. As ericman pointed out JASON was the perfect GOAT, just frigging Forrest Gumping his way through Survivor. Not saving Sad Sack, who'd fall for ANYTHING for Last among the Guys was the RIGHT PLAY. He goes on a late Immunity Run, you're still going to have a chance. Who's the absolute WORSE choice for the Bitches of Eastwick to save for last? ERIK. See them all CHEER for Erik to win Immunity? Careful for what you WISH FOR, Bitches! If this guy wins F6 Immunity, your whole game FALLS APART. A guy willing to go up Ozzie's arse for one more chance. A guy who's willing to pay Cirie $40 bucks to suck her fingers. This is a guy EVERY GOD DAMN Juror is going to LUUUUUURVE! If he's willing to suck Cirie's fingers, he's going to support Cirie's inevitable COUP against Parvarti, or DEFENSE of Cirie against Parv. (With AMANDA on their side. GAME ON! At last Amanda shows TRUE GAME. Unfortunately, she's making the SAME MISTAKE as on China. The AUDIENCE gets to see her skills. The TRIBE doesn't. It SUCKS to be Amanda, yet AGAIN.) So this is how I see the REST OF THE GAME playing out: • JAMES goes NEXT, because he's not White and 20-Something, as the Parvarti Rules of Alliances dictate. • Erik wins F6 Immunity forcing Parv to try to take out Cirie. Erik and Amanda rally to Cirie's side. Can Cirie be taken out of the game YET AGAIN, by ANOTHER Fire-Starting Challenge??? Girlfriend! Go PRACTICE making a farking FIRE, already!!! AW, CRAAAAAAAAPPPPP!!! • Parvarti MAJORLY Musked 'em Fup by letting Erik be the Last Guy Standing. He's on a ROLL! The Heir to OZZY. The Lion King. Posts: 12916 (04/25/08 3:54 AM) Registered User More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Everyone in the game is under 32 except Cirie, and Cirie's alliances and voting decisions (along with who quit) is the major reason for that. Parv's one fatal mistake on Survivor was trusting a condescending middle-aged man, Jonathan, over her girlfriend Jenny. Jason was a decent potential goat for Alexis and Natalie. Not for Parv. I see Cirie or Amanda trying to target one of Parv's fan allies before F5. That conflict has been set up. If they suceeed, they'll put one or two solid Parv votes on the jury. Natalie took the heel heat this past episode, Parv looked good in comparison and handled the blowback from last week quite well. Alexis and Cirie were minor supporting characters. The editors made the females look bad by not twelling enough of the real backstory with Jason, who is widely disliked by everyone and wasn't nice to the older outsiders at the beginning. Isn't Jason the sort of person a "dumb Raro" would allign with, but instead Parv has Alexis with the Master's degree. Perhaps lesbian Natalie avenged Chet, but that story wasn't told. And the chance that the predicted F3 will ACTUALLY HAPPEN? ZERO! NEVER happened BEFORE, never WILL. And with a BETTER candidate: Cirie, Amanda, ERIK, chances are the better candidate WILL WIN! The edit SCREAMS to me , at least ERIK! I think I need to offer a BET. Erik WINS S16! Who's going to challenge MY SPEC ability? I'll lay down all my BOARG CRED against anyone who wants to DOUBT ME! Who's willing to TAKE ME ON, to challenge my SPEC???

Posts: 674 (04/25/08 10:27 AM) MESS member More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I said it last week, Jason's arc was done. He said he wanted to beat Ozzy, he beat Ozzy. By one week. He never talked about wanting to win the whole shebang. Stupid people, stupid, stupid people. Survivor suddenly turned into "The Natalie Show": she speaks! she smiles! she has game! she backstabs! I didn't find her so terribly evil although I really don't think ousting Jason was about avenging Chet! She wanted to oust him because he was the easiest to oust. This may be as much story as we get about her. I think James will go this week but think it will be due to injury and they'll still have TC so two people will leave the game? Don't know how that works out schedule wise. Alexis - still no real story of her own. I suppose she could be F3, but she isn't the winner. Parvati - loved how James outted her to Ozzy and loved even more that Ozzy seemed stunned. He really thinks he knows it all. Ha! She has now pissed off James, Ozzy, and probably Eliza. I don't see her winning. Cerie - quiet this week. Tried to comfort Amanda, but otherwise quiet. I don't even remember if she had a confessional!! If not, this must be the first week. That Natalie was sure a confessional hog. Amanda - at first when I saw the previews I thought those arms were Ceries but I agree they're hers and I totally believe she finds the idol. What she does with it is another question but in this season I'm thinking "third time lucky" and the real idol will actually be successfully played. Erik - this is a puzzlement. He's kind of an idiot savant, still in the game but not by his own efforts. THey wouldn't have booted him this week even if he hadn't won the IN. Sun, I'm not ready to challenge your thought process here (you scare me man!) but I'm not sure that I see a winner edit for Erik. Totally willing to admit that's probably because I still want Cerie to win. I never claimed objectivity and logic! Oh, and my hinkies are totally screwed up. I changed my fantasy pick from Erik to James for the IC winner. ARGH!

She didn't find her keys and therefore she didn't proceed to the next part of the challenge. No? Yes? Why are people thinking it is the shot of her pulling up the HII?

Strong sunshine in that shot. Also no sign of the rope boundary and seems like in the ad the hole she is digging seems long and narrow.

In fairness to Rarotards everywhere, Parvati's two very early alliances were with James and with Cirie. If anything, I think she may have used her color-blindness to advantage. I think some of the other women didn't go try to build bonds with James, while they seemed quite willing to connect with Joel or Mikey. Just because she is willing to shed James when she thinks it is in her interest to do so, doesn't mean there's a racial issue.

Actually Parvati has a good chance in 2 scenarios. The above one, if she retain Fave jury votes. And against Amanda and Cirie, if she can obtain New Airai Fan votes from Jason, Alexis, and Natalie, plus have Eliza vote for her in a tiebreaker. It's like the situation in S10 in reverse, where if Tom had followed Colby, Matt and Rob M in losing it would have been bad. Fortunately Eric seems like a fluffy sweetheart and not the next Chris. In the Ozzy boot episode, his airtime was all about the native culture and the reward trip, hardly anything about the game. Erik's first 4 episodes weren't up to winner calibre either, based on edgic.

I agree. Anything other than a Parvati or Cirie win will be a joke. Amanda is just another in a long line of wimpy coattail riders that we've seen over and over again. Survivor needs a strong, smart, aggressive female mastermind winner, otherwise it's going to start looking pathetic and ridiculous that the only way a woman can ever win Survivor is by being mute and invisible.

But I did so in CHINA where the "sublimnibles" were all for COURTNEY, but the GAME was SCREAMING TODD. The General Story Arc of S16 has TOTALLY been, "The KING (Ozzy) is Dead. LONG LIVE the King." The QUESTION for me has always been, "Who AVENGES Ozzy?" THERE'S your freaking WINNER! Jason's BLATANT edit was how he was so freaking NOT the Successor to Ozzy. When (who was it, Cirie?) called Erik "The Lion King" said " he's STUDYING Ozzy, learning all his MOVES, that points to Erik. But, I've noticed a few "sumblimnables" pointing to AMANDA, as well. Ozzy COZYING up to Amanda. He called them, in Ep. 2, I believe, "Adam and EVE." Then JAMES REITERATES his ominous warning from China, "DON'T BITE THE APPLE!" That was how Amanda went down in flames in China. That's how PARVARTI goes down in flames THIS SEASON. But the EVE of Last Season ISN'T "Biting the Apple" this season. If James and Erik go down, while Queen Parv won't stand for the VASTLY SUPERIOR player, Cirie, to have ANY FREAKING chance, she's going to put AMANDA into the F4, where from China, we ALL KNOW, she is the PRESUMPTIVE IMMUNITY WINNER. I often contemplate about who MB WANTS to win. Lord knows, he's willing to TABLE-TILT the game any way he sees fit to make what he WANTS to happen, happen. So you HAVE to take THAT into consideration doing SPEC about the Winner. Of COURSE, MB wants to see the Bitches of Eastwick Alliance go DOWN IN FLAMES! Alexis, Natalie, Parvarti. They have ZERO CHANCE of winning! But the Last DEFENDER OF THE REALM WILL!!! Amanda deserved MORE CREDIT than her ZERO VOTES in a three person race earned her. That was because, like MATT in S6, she played the game in HER HEAD and had no case to make to the JURY. She CHOSE to HIDE behind TODD and let him take the BLAME for what happened. Then, because she pinned the BLAME on Todd, she couldn't take the CREDIT. Her appeals to the Jury were USELESS. Non-Player, COURTNEY beat the living SHIT out of her in front of the Jury. ASS went to the WEAKEST player in their original season, Amber. The weakest "Fave" this time? Parvarti. No way in HELL MB wants that to happen again. MB would have wanted a "SHOULD-A WON" to win ASS. Lex or Kathy. The only Should-A won out there? AMANDA. MB wanted ASS to be "Learn from your MISTAKES." But that didn't happen. LEX mucked 'em fup by trying to rig an alliance where he was the OBVIOUS winner. Kathy lost by putting all her marbles behind an IRRATIONAL player. Amanda CAN win by sucking up to an IRRATIONAL, horrible player, Parvarti. ALL she has to do is WIN that LAST IMMUNITY CHALLENGE. Against Parv, Nat and Alexis? EASY AS PIE!!!

Coming back like Jenna M and Sandra, after Ozzy was taken out against her will. Now Amber has the Jenna m role, but Parvati is like Rob C - the good social player who made the move, who used what looked like their back-up alliance of fans\outsiders to take out their cool kids allaince. Amanda could win against someone like Matt or Lill in a F2, but I think people like Jason, Alexis and Natalie will want to reward Parvati for taking out Ozzy and helping them get a few places further. They were all new Airai too. I could believe more in an Amanda win (1) if she hadn't been edited as Parvati's shadow in ep.1-4, and if Ozzy had a more positive Rupert-like edit. Instead he often looked arrogent and we didn't see him as super-provider. He was gleeful about snaking Jason, and said "the game is about outwit." You have to bite the apple of knowledge to win Survivor (unless your name is Ethan). In S13, Parvati frolicked innocently and was betrayed by Jonathan. Becky and Sundra were Yul loyalists and got creamed by the jury.

Posts: 2602 (04/26/08 4:34 PM) Registered User More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	If you throw out the first 4 episodes of the fans vs. favorites tribes and consider episode 5 as the first episode, then this season is like a regular season of old with 16 contestants and a final 2. Parvati was on the dominant tribe that lost 2 players (who weren't even voted out) to the other tribes 4 up to the merger. Contestants from Parvati's tribe (Eliza, Jason, Natalie, Alexis) form a majority of the jury and should vote for her based on tribal loyalty. The only way Parvati loses is if she betrays either Natalie or Alexis (or both) resulting in one of them being bitter and I don't see that happening. The bottom line is Parvati's tribe won all the Immunity Challenges which allows them to have a majority on the jury and her opponent in the Final 2 was on the opposing tribe so Parvati is the strong favorite to win. The one person from Parv's tribe that she did piss off is unable to be on the jury and Ozzy can rant and rave all he wants to but he would have voted for Amanda even if Parvati had not screwed him over. He took such glee in the fact that they were about to blindside Jason after giving their word, and then the exact same thing happened to him. Plus, as was mentioned, he didn't exactly get a Rupert edit this season. Parvati has all of the relationships with the jurors (Alexis/Natalie/Jason/Eliza). Amanda has Ozzy. OK, she might pull in Erik. But once again she hasn't made any friends outside her own little clique. Why would they keep emphasizing Parvati's social game if it didn't pay off in the end?

Jason says he'd vote for whoever ousted Ozzy which is Cirie...So James' being on the jury is crucial to one of the nuMalakal winning. The Finale is going to be VERRRRY interesting...And as Eliza predicted at Ponderosa, Natalie will be the last fan standing...Grrrrr....

We saw Pavarti making alliances with Alexis/Natalie but we have had a lot of hints that Pavarti's multiple alliances could blow up in her face. For example, Natalie has a clear mean streak, if Pavarti backstabs her, how will Natalie react, will Natalie take it well...? Or will she vote for Amanda as retribution. (or Cirie) We don't know this. And honestly we haven't seen a whole lot of Cirie/ Pavarti interaction. Alexis also is a moral person, nice Christian girl(I'm incredibly loyal) Will Alexis vote for Pavarti's game of a multiple alliances, or will she personally agree with Amanda's game more. In her blog, Alexis also talked about not caring for the "flirt strategy" and we know that Amanda and others were at a Survivor watch party that Pavarti apparently was not invited too. (Although I believe Alexis/Pavarti are My Space Friends) The point being, we don't know how Alexis/ Natalie will react to Pavarti's actions. As Eliza said and even Pavarti said when she talked about, all those people that Pavarti made promises to and screwed are going to be on that jury. Her social game may get her to the Finals, but it may cost her votes. And this especially might be the case if Pavarti is up against someone like Amanda. Yes, Todd was fine, and Todd beat Amanda, but Todd didn't backstab nearly as many people as Pavarti has backstabbed. Todd had no alliances with Erik, Pei Gee, Jamie, or really Frosti (although he didn't exactly tell Frosti that Frosti was going) And he went to the end with people who voted exactly the same as him, every single time, and who also made similar promises (in Amanda's case with Denise)... Todd would have never brought a Pei Gee to the end. In Pavarti's case, she's made promises to James, Ozzy, Natalie, Alexis, Cirie, Amanda. That's 6 people and the very least 4/5 potential jury members. And then she ends up at the end with someone who broke a lot less promises. That could kill Pavarti in a jury vote.
