Taking into consideration what Damon said: *Quote:* "We'll be introducing new characters in Season 3, so you'll be getting fresh flashbacks. You'll probably see fewer flashbacks of our original characters as we begin to move toward certain inevitabilities. It only makes sense for his story arc to reach a crescendo next year (finding out how he was crippled, etc) and then let him die in a horrific blaze of glory. Besides, he's publicly stated that he's not happy with what his character has become. The mystery is gone. It's time for him to go, hopefully it'll be early on in the season.

To begin with Locke felt he had a real destiny to fulfill on the island. He got sidetracked...just like Ana told Eko in his dream. Eko is going to help Locke find his way...and part of that is Eko taking over the button pushing. at this point I'm not concerned how Locke ended up in a wheelchair...because Locke's story on the island itself is going to surpass his flashbacks...or so I feel. :)Peggy

His death would be the thing that would ruin it for me. However, I can't say they won't kill him. No one is safe, for the most part.

But the Locke stays. Eko might be cool and have a big stick and all, but if he turns into a hatch pussy, not cool. I so didn't like his episode. Turns me off when he grins too much. I like him better when he's quiet and spooky. No recap, Kittentype-person.
