Of course they don't understand the concept of it. Hell, most adults don't, they just watch it to see people run into the water and grab puzzle pieces. But I'm not going to make my brothers go watch the Backyardigans because they don't understand Survivor!...

My dad has never watched it. Sister watched Pearl Islands and All Stars (typical Rupert/Romber fan, yawn...).

My mom has watched Micronesia religiously with me though, and she seems pretty consistent for Gabon

We always watch it together, my whole family. Of my friends, I don't think any of them watch it. So I really have nobody to talk about it with except my family, who usually likes the people I don't.

Everyone I know watched the 1st 2 seasons...Africa I never even saw(until Jessie Camacho gave me her copy). I picked up again during Marquesas, that season I got my cousin and his BF hooked. My cousin and his partner still watch although even they wonder whats happened to the show:( For whatever reasons after Amazon I was rewatching the "I'll get naked for Peanut Butter" episode and my sister was home looking thru recent photos...when she realized the 2 girls saying this...

I've always watched it with my brother since the first season.. and he lurks at Sucks so he "gets it" My friends think it's lame that I still watch Survivor, they all tuned out after S2. I had one friend who was just as obsessed as I was but he transferred to a different school before we graduated.

Both of my parents watch it, and there was a time when both of my brothers watched it too. One of them quit after Africa and the other quit in the middle of Pearl Islands.

In my family I am the only person that watches Survivor, my parents and four sisters do not. The only other person in my family that watches is my uncle who hasn't missed an episode since the show began. So when I see him I am able to discuss the show, but he doesn't have a computer, so we can't speak that much about it, and he can't see all the extra scenes available online.

I have tried to get my friends into it, and I have had some sucuess in this over the years....

My hubby and I have watched since the show started in 2000. We missed most of Fiji and Thailand, but otherwise....every Thursday we are glued. The kids love it too, gotta start 'em young.... No, they don't understand the strategy, just if they like the challenges and if someone says something good.

Im the only out of both my friends and family that watches it..I threw some Survivor China parties last year during my freshman year of college, but after the sixth episode they were bored with the show..If only I through Micronesia survivor parties..Perhaps I would have had a different turn out...My younger cousins use to watch it but now they are too involved with high school to give a damn..

yeah i don't really know of anyone i could talk with "in person" about the show. my family doesn't watch it, but my older brother watches it once in a while. you'd think they'd want to watch it since i actually tried out for it last summer--but i guess not.
