It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I picked it up today and some of the tunes are very catchy and overall it's an enjoyable listen. That song "Open Toes" that leaked I believe a few months ago is the worst of it, it's not a good representation of the album as a whole.

It's a great album- certainly not a masterpiece, but I find it enjoyable. I'm glad that she didn't go the "SOTR" route and instead recorded some cool jams.

I do think that Katharine is a gorgeous woman, but she should not do interviews. I start liking her, and then she talks. Oh, she is a total train wreck. She comes off as stupid, petty and shallow. She should just smile and wave and shut up. Her voice is OK, but I think she'll do better as a model than a singer. And she should just never ever do interviews -- just photo shoots.

Considering the massive exposure she got this week, including signing a CD on "Ugly Betty", that's not too impressive a number. Bo did twice that with less publicity and Justin and Diana did over half of that with zippo support from RCA.

Katharine is a remarkably pretty girl and I have no doubt she'll be a celebrity but that doesn't neccessarily translates into record sales. Ask Paris Hilton.

That's just the projection though, she could sell more, she could totally flop, we don't know yet.

She's projected to sell 100,000 copies in her first week. That's kind of underwhelming, considering she was the runner-up in her season.

That's not a whole lot more than Pickler sold in her first week.

"Over It" sounds a lot like JoJo's "Too Little, Too Late" but nowhere near as good.

A couple of the ballad-y type songs sound ok, but her voice sounds very generic on them.

I searched the forum and didn't see any news or opinions related to the following, so here goes:

Kat's New Album was released last Tuesday--at least on iTunes--and current holds the second highest number of album sales on that downloading website behind Norah Jones's new album. It's certainly an overprocessed piece of pop nonsense, but as I was expecting that, I must say that I kinda like it. The two biggest tracks are probably "Over It," a nondescript but catchy song...
