It really is.

I used to boycott the show simply because it bothered me how EVERY episode began with that harp music (dooo dooo dooo doo dooooooo) playing while they showed the house So glad I gave in.

I always love to watch the episode with Barbara Thorndyke. SO many great lines in that one.

Even reading what you wrote cracks me up... love it. I can even see the "glare" in Blanche's eye after she says "Damn your good"

What about when Dorothy finds out that Sophia had money saved up all these years? Dorothy makes Sophia tea and right when Rose is about to take a sip Dorothy shouts out "NO! That tea is for my mommy...." in such a creepy,...

I think my fave Dorothy reaction is when her, Rose & Blanche are posing nude for an artist. Blanche finds out that the artist is also considering using the other girls so she goes on a huge ass rant about how demure, how sophisticated she is. Mid-sentence she sits down at her usual chair only to have sat on a whoopie cushion that Sophia had set down earlier in the scene. I laughed for a good five minutes out loud @ like 2am when I first saw it last year.

It's true GP, the deliveries and timing on this show is among the best that's ever been on tv. You just KNOW when a zinger is coming without them even saying anything and it's delivered brilliantly. The looks on Bea Arthur's face were enough to win her the Emmy, but when she opened her mouth to deliver a line they almost always were gems.

They showed one of my fave eps last night..when Blanche's brother and his boyfriend come to Miami and announces he's getting married. SO many worthy moments:

Yay to Ross Matthews (on Chelsea Lately) for comparing Paris Hilton and the Kardashians to the episode of GG where Dorothy goes to bar with Blanche and starts singing and everyone loves her. Paris apparently is upset that the Kardashians are taking the spotlight away from her.
