YES, definitely. She gets better, but all the Cordelia glory days are in the first three seasons of Angel.

So, I just started watching this with my daughter, because her bff loves it and they had the first 2 seasons on sale at Target so I picked them up. Does Cordelia ever have anything to do other than being bitchy in a couple scenes per episode?

5 is probably my favourite. Some great stand alones and a great BIG season long arc that would have led to a great finale had they left it at 5. Glory is easily my favourite of the Big Bads

I remember getting goosebumps at this:

Buffy to Quentin "What kid of demon is she?"

Quentin "Glory isn't a demon at all."

Buffy, slightly nervous "What is she?"

Right, which are the only reason to watch that season. The entire Intiative/Riley plot was very weak imo. The first three seasons really are the best of the show, but things really started to go downhill once they introduced Dawn into the...

Season four has great stand alone episodes, some of the best. The initative episodes sucked.

And I lothed season four of Angel. I'm shocked it got picked up after that shitfest with cordilia sleeping with conner and the stupid woman who hypnotized the world.

Season 4 of Buffy was not great- Riley and the Initiative sucked a major amount of balls- but it is no match for the awfulness of Season 4 of Angel. I've never wanted to kill a fictional character as much as I did with Connor.

Wow, did not know that. I did know that there was some tension/blow-up at some point between Aly & Sarah right? Like around s5 when they added titles to her name in the credits or whatever? (which bugged me too).

Yeah Beefcake, that's right. SMG and Emma Caulfield didn't get along-I don't really know why exactly, but Emma blasted SMG on Howard Stern after she was done with the show. I liked Anya, but I felt her character really wasn't moving anywhere so it was better that she died.
