I love the show and the characters and I don't get all bent out of shape if they don't behave the way I think they should behave. But Peggy putting on pantyhose just jumped out at me as something that didn't seem right.

I bet you're right. It would be too limiting (and perhaps too expensive) to use only actual songs from the sixties. Better to expand the show's creative horizons. Imagine the Sopranos with only Italian mafia music!

yeah odd. but it does give ol' weiner a little slack from here on out.

i read so many reviews that dissect each ep from start to end for the period thing. folks that must google for hours on end to see if the ibm selectric was a proper placement or an anachronism (and that was like the first ep.) or the pantiehose from this ep...

et al.

i'm sure he's tired of this shit, so he tosses in a song that completely works but is not "history...
