I knew it, Kristen Kreuk (Lana) will be back next season. I actually like the Lana character, but they've killed/gotten rid of her so many times only to have her return, I'm sick of it. Just kill her for good. She's not supposed to be part of Clark's adult life anyway!

That blurb made my day. Without the character of Chloe, I'd have gone back to watching Survivor.

Now, as far as storylines go, she needs to tell Jimmy a big fat "Hell, no." Otherwise, there will be an obligatory off screen divorce after the series goes off the air.

As previously mentioned; the comics and the show are different things.
But, in the comics, when Doomsday is defeated... he comes back stronger.
Early version of Supes vs Early version of Doomsday.
Clark is still in Smallville?

I think Lex finally killing Lionel should have been the end of the series. And without either of them, season 8 will suffer greatly--they were the 2 best characters on the show.

I'm still upset at the way Lionel went out--we still never got full closure on why he did certain things like build that kryptonite cage. Sure, he leaves a message about how much he cares for Clark and was always on his side, but he did so many things that seem to also contradict that. And, with him...

I don't think I actually watched the finale of "That 70's show" What I was alluding to was Eric and Kelso left for the last season, except for a few eps. They made a poor attemt at an eric clone. Just thinking we might be heading for that next year.

I could definitely do without CLana, but they should explore Clark training to become Superman. Just can't see how they can pull that off next year.

BTW next eps preview looked good!

The problem with most scripted shows is since they don't know how long they'll last, there is a struggle between too much filler, and revealing too much too soon. Season 1 was "Freak of the week" While there have been many strong episodes over the course of the series, this show could have been distilled into 4 solid seasons rather than 7, now 8, substandard ones. I think most shows would be better served by the new Lost formula of getting a firm commitment from the network,...

Should be interesting to see how the show is next season, could be very good and bad(i am siding it a good thing more likely). Definantly alot of problems with all the CLana stuff past few seasons, as well as Clark's progression and hopefully the new producers go all out...

oh well i think after Veritas, once Lana comes out of the coma both will realize they not ment for eachother and they can move on to Lois and Clark for the rest of season 8

They signed on for season 8. Word is Lana will only be on select episodes(like 8-13ish) and Lex's status is unknown at the moment(they trying to get him to resign but he siding more with no).
