Like I said in my first post, I suspected this guy did this for self promotion. Scum using his kids and his wife. I agree shiza. Take him and inflict huge pain on this ass.
These people who believe that they can try and fool people for their own gain, truly need to suffer dire consequences. I hope they take his kids away from him, he is not a fit husband.

I only saw the one episode. Guessing the first epi, since it was a repeat on Lifetime. Sure wouldn't stun me if it was a hoax but I can't anyone imagine doing that as a "stunt". Eh, just hoping the kid is okay.

Remember seeing that Wife Swap. Father is sort of a self-absorbed dick-wad, with the mother doing everything for the father and the kids seemed sort of secondary. Hope that poor kid is okay.

This couple was on 2 Wife Swap episodes. Both the husband and wife were COMPLETELY erratic and prone to throwing out of control temper tantrum fits at the drop of a hat. I'm talking going from laughing and joking to screaming rage in seconds.

To me, they both seemed to be completely unstable and this story, sadly, is not surprising. They were crackpots. It's really too bad when mentally unstable people reproduce only to project their problems on their offspring.

How funny! The kid that floated away in the balloon was from the family that was on Wife Swap. I have seen maybe 3 of these shows, but I remember this guy an 'inventor' who was using his asian wife to put up pamphlets and do his bidding. There were 3 boys I believe.

Watching CNN right now and think the boy must have fallen out of the balloon and is probably dead. But wouldn't put it past this guy to make this a big publicity stunt to get him more attention.

Agreed about the fit.

They both seemed like fine but eccentric people. The halloween family needed to focus on school and extra curriculars and the swimming family needed to calm down a bit.

I don't know if I'd ever seen a family except rule changes like the swim family did, and the Dad was so cute talking about how much he loved and missed his wife.

The Halloween lady actually seemed to be able to impart some wisdom/sanity into the other household, and the husband was very receptive. And I'm glad that drill-sargeant mom got Haunt-dad to start spending time with his daughter. That was actually a very productive episode. I just wish we could've seen more of what triggered the one guy's fit at final table.
