He got the flu from it and was out of school for a week.
You cannot get the flu from the vaccine. He either already had the flu or got the flu before the vaccine kicked in.

I don't think you are immune from it because you had the swine flu.

I have also...never gotten the flu.

Distributed for peer review last week, the study confounded infectious-disease experts in suggesting that people vaccinated against seasonal flu are twice as likely to catch swine flu.

Have they been giving it to the general public yet? We've been getting lots of kids with it that are getting pretty sick and some deaths have resulted.
