I stay in hotel rooms 2-3 nights a week and always carry Clorox wipes to wipe down everything in the room including the remote. I never thought about the showerheads until now. Gross.

Vinegar aka acetic acid also works well for shower heads cleaning and getting the lime off of them. I didn't even take them off, just fill a vinegar plastic baggie and tie it around the tubing just about the shower head....

I have / left entire grocery carts fll of stuff cause I couldnt get jyself to touch anyhtring after a naqsty clerk had ..and deff didnt want it in my car or house ( one reason I cant shop at wal mart ,,the wal mart by the lakehouse excluded ) I have also driven away from many a fast food wndow cause I could not and would not take any food from the people inside . shudders. this isnt icd this is juts cause there are so many gross fucking people in the world . and dont even get me statred what...

My shower head is kinda leaking - I wandered around the home improvement store looking at a bunch of nothing today trying to decide what I was forgetting. Now, from reading this thread, I realize I forgot the shower head. I do, however, have a pack of the wrong light bulbs of my very own now.

A technique to conquer germ OCD is called exposure therapy and it basically entails creating more and more scenarios in which you're around germs until a) it doesn't skeeve you out, b) you realize that just being around germs doesn't make you sick, c) you get sick and realize it's not the end of the world.

I cleansed. I've got that nice bleach smell in...
