FOX is putting American Idol up against Modern Family in January. It's never easy, is it?

On the bright side, my other favorite new comedy 'The Middle' is now out of the way of the AI juggernaut.

It's only coz the supporting nods are all clumped together so it's very limited. I think some of them would get nominations at the Emmy's though when the categories are actually split. There's no one on this show that's considered a "lead" as they all get equal airtime and equal story-time.

Modern Family nominated for Best Comedy @ the Golden Globes! Unfortunately, no one picked up an acting award. Because the Globes smush all the supporting categories (drama/comedy/miniseries/made-for-tv movie) into one big category, it was sort of impossible anyway. And there's no one that's really "lead" in the cast. So maybe the Emmy's next year. But yay for the nomination!
