No, Fluffy, Jeff said many times he went to the open casting call in Chicago with an ex-girlfriend. He watched season 10 last summer and then watched 5 and 8 in sequester.

Jordan said they gave them 5, 8, and 10 in sequester and I always wondered why they picked those. And it just now hit me-

I think you got that backwards. Jeff was recruited from his modeling agency, He watched last season in seclusion at the hotel the 2 weeks before going in the house.

eta: Of course, he still had to do all the paperwork like any applicant along with the interviews but he did not seek BB out first. They found him.

Answering the Craig's list ad would be considered a recruit too. Michele got on that way.

The feeds also aren't an "all or nothing" sort of thing. Some seasons I'll skip a week or two or only watch periodically. Usually early season is interesting, later season is boring.

You can still watch the feeds & have a life. You don't have to sit in front of your PC 24/7 if you chose not to. Watch when you can. Or use the new feature that lets you watch feed-backs. Many sites list the important happenings by day, time, cam & all you have to do is push a button & you're there.

I'd rather see an applicant win the game but a few recruits are good for the mix. I like watching them be all bewildered in the house. Good for a buncha laughs.

Watching the show 3 times a week is entertaining & that's OK but when you add the feeds & the internet boards to it it becomes multidimensional. It's like a whole new experience.

My sister auditioned for BB10 in New Orleans (with Renny) & she only watches the shows. I tried to tell her if she was chosen she needed to get online to see what BB is REALLY all about. (I guess the main thing I'd appreciate knowing is that feeders see & hear pretty much...

Good for you Casey for being one of the regular people that made it on the show. Some recruits have provided entertainment, but for me, in general, applicants > recruits.

I hate it when people are on there that have no clue how the game works (Baller and Ryan thinking jury questioning meant they got to ask questions of the jury is one example, though that one was entertaining on the feeds when they were told how it really works.)

And the feeds really are the only way to...

yeah, i can't lie.. i consider myself a fan of the show and never watched the feeds or saw spoilers online. me being on the show changed the way a whole lot of people i know watch the show.. my mom even was like "man, the SHOW is sort of anticlimactic." after doin' the web stuff.

Any idea as to who applied versus who was recruited for this season? There are a few that I instantly assumed were recruits---Braden---but I guess you can never be 100% certain. Anybody have any input?
