Get a pooper scooper and pick up all the crap that is in your yard. Then either fling it back into the neighbor's yard or, if you really want to be in their face about it, deposit it on their front porch. Do this again and again and again until they get the message and either train or corral their freaking cat. And, yes, a cat can be trained!

I have heard the mothballs work. We have a neighborhood cat. The people down the street never take care of the poor thing and it is always looking for affection. I feel bad because I don't want to touch it because it is full of fleas.

I wish I could blast the cat with water, but I'm never home when the puss does its business.

I'll try the cayenne pepper first -- I have some on hand from my kitchen. I might pickup some moth balls later, but will the squirrels try to eat them? I've got several squirrel in my trees, so I don't want to hurt them.

the guy 2 doors down from me FREAKS over cats making stinkies in his yard...strange thing is i thought he had a cat cuz i see one going into his yard all the time; he must be under attack from the neighborhood cats.

i heard from another neighbor that my yard used to always be full of neighborhood cats before i moved in (with dogs).

Nothing would please me more than having their dirty pussy leak it's stuff all over their house! How about Ex-Lax mashed into cat food?

I know it's one cat because it's occasionally napping in my yard. No other cats do this. Cats cover up their dung, but they use the same location over and over.

Why put the litter box so close to your home?
I'd put it as far away and as close to the cats home as possible...
If you're not home much, how do you know its a cat?
or only 1 ?
Maybe a sand pile will do, why bother with kitty litter?

Have your friend bring their pit bull over for frequent visits.
If none of your friends has a big dog, put an ad in the paper or go hire somebody from the dog park.
Maybe you can take a long weekend and foster a dog from the pound.
I do like the litter box idea too. If you're really evil, you could put out a can of tuna laced with caster oil, maybe he'll go home & shit all over his own house all night. That could backfire though.
