I just got sucked into watching the first 3 episodes this morning. It's sad that a workaholic real estate agent like Katrina ranks amongst the most sympathetic. I took my first trip to Miami last month to visit a friend who moved there 3 years ago. I hated Miami and watching this show confirms what I didn't like about the town so in a way I find this show comforting and I'm now hooked watching these shallow messed up people go about their lives in a city well suited for them.

Hardy's chick is fug and George's ex-wife - Sorah? - is pretty fug (something about the hair style/forehead combo). Maria is attractive in an over-the-hill-but-still-trying-to-act-young way. You'd think that in Miami, they'd have some better-looking women. And better looking gays, too...

She looks hot in those slinky dresses. Lina, on the other hand just looks freakish - depending upon the camera angle, she goes from hot to fugly in an instant (on top of being a complete psycho!)

George needs to get rid of Lina once and for all. Sorah is right about her. I don't really get exes that hangout with their exes though. I can understand staying in touch via e-mail or catching up once in a while some other way but hanging out us weird to me. I met my man's ex once and it was fine, he came over to our house for about 30 minutes. I put on a smile, gave the tour, offered a drink and waited for him to get the fuck out. Wow who knew Hardy and Katrina are so "important" in Miami Beach. Hardy's girlfriend seems like a douche. And what is up with that pathetic middle-aged gay man? I almost feel bad for him for airing all his dirty laundry on the show. The guy and his crazy girlfriend that can barely speak english are pretty funny. I am embarrassed to even have watched this...that is how much TV has gone to shit lately.

So apparently this is premiering on Bravo on July 14th and will basically film a bunch of yuppies in Miami doing their thing or whatever. I love Bravo, but aren't all these shows getting to be a bit much? I mean, aside from their competition shows (which all have pretty much the same format as one another too), do they do much else besides follow around pseudo-wealthy douchebags who think they're better than everyone else in the country?
