Most Haunted has had many 'scandals' where they were caught faking things. There was one where a cast member threw a spoon at Yvette off camera and they said it was a poltergeist. It caused a bit of a stir in Britain because, if I remember correctly, it was near the beginning when they were first starting out and people still actually believed they were legit. Then there was also the thing where their historian/paranormal expert guy Ciran or whatever his name had the 'psychic'...

OMG that one! the wind blows up her pant leg and she screams blue murder and then the bleeping starts.
The one I like the best was the one they got lowered into the well and all radio communication was lost.

Total freak outs ensued. It was awesome.

This show IS so frustrating to watch, with all the screaming/bleeped swearing. But, I do enjoy watching for something to happen to Carl (Yvette's husband?). He reacts so overdramatically that it's hysterical.

The team always seems to have an overabundance of pebbles being thrown at them (by unseen crew, I suspect ), and the way they can move that glass around the Ouija table top is...

I totally believe that about Most Haunted. I think the only show that has actually captured anything paranormal is the one on A&E and even then it can be a bit suspect.
But I keep watching hoping to see something that will freak me out.

But Most Haunted I just watch for the camp factor. Too many things happen off camera. THey don't film it right at all.

There's some great Most Haunted clips on youtube, but I've gotten too damn frustrated trying to post them in this thread.

There's one where Yvette thinks the camera is off her during a live show and she makes a creepy sound and then says 'did you hear that?'.

There's a couple other good ones where they get busted moving a glass and shaking a table.

Ghost Hunters got caught doing some shady looking stuff on the Halloween special I mentioned above. There was a loud "disembodied voice" that seemed fake. There was another incident with Grant Wilson's %$@!@@ collar supposedly being yanked that looked as if he may have been using a string being pulled from his %$@!@@ pocket. The Most Haunted allegations happened a couple of years ago though, I think.

Wasn't there some scandal where someone got ahold of footage of them faking a supernatural occurrence? Does anyone remember what I'm talking about?

<3'd this show when it first started premiering on the Travel Channel here in America. There was one time when a spirit apparently assaulting one of the guys, knocking him down to the ground, which scared the crap out of me. But I'm pretty sure that was played up by the production staff and they were being overdramatic.

I watch this BBC show on W and Viva for the camp factor and the nightvision cameras.

Now, I love me some ghosthunting but the whole show is bleeped out because every little thing sets them off screaming and swearing.
THey do this for a fucking living and yet the fat women scream ALL THE TIME.

I like it when they go to castles and stuff and occassionally they get some creepy shit recorded on film (doors being slammed open and shut and rocks and shit being pelted out of...
