Certainly more progressive than Obama on this.

How do you know that? Cheney and Obama are pretty much eye-to-eye thus far when it comes to their policies on gay marriage. Why would you say either of them are progressive on this issue? Linking Cheney to the word progressive at all is probably one of the funniest things I've heard all day.
