Overall, I enjoyed this series and I would love to see more installments elsewhere around the world. The scenery was gorgeous, it was informative, there were people to like and hate, clashing of personalities/egos . . . I hope MB can create more Expeditions, because I'll tune in for sure.

Finally got to see the first 2 episodes downloaded and watched them. MB knows how to film a beautiful story, and kudos to his cinematography team.
These 4 are extremely interesting as are the head porter Louise and the Massai (?) warriors.

Great show and great idea.

I really wish that MB would bring back the EcoChallenge..

Oh ya, Pasquale is an arrogant dickhead. Granted he knows his shit, but the biggest egos make the biggest mistakes.

Pasquale just gets worse and worse as this expedition goes along. Why does he think he can unilaterally overrule everyone else around him? I love how he is more and more an expert on everything under the sun. "I've been around hippos for 30 years." Yeah, right. The whole episode I was hoping for Pasquale to be attacked by an alligator or a hippo and finally get owned.

So glad Benedict is winning his battle with Malaria. I don't know what poor Mireya would do...

No thread on this? I just watched the premier on the History Channel and it was excellent. It really reminded me of the treks taken in Survivor Australia and Survivor Africa except with people who are actually intelligent. Basically it is four explorers (Navigator, Wildlife Expert, Survivalist, Journalist), who all think they know what is best for the group, as they follow the path that Stanley took to find Dr. Livingstone. They only have themselves, the food they bought, their own travel...
