I don't expect much, especially since I'm not sure he knows what in the world he thinks given the fact that he admitted earlier in this thread that abortion is a necessary evil. The Hopkins name mistake always bothers me, though.

Alol. Why are conservatives lately so anti-intellectual? It's not 'political lingo', it's medical lingo. Which, one would imagine, a doctor from Hopkins would have an in-depth understanding of. But perhaps not...he's a shrink, right? Not an ob-gyn or a surgeon. He may have forgotten his medical school training in human gestation.

Late term abortions are very rare and require at least two doctor's opinions, and done because of the danger to the mother. Back in the day women were forced to go full term and therefore it resulted in their deaths.
This procedure is very serious.

Of course I am! But that doesn't matter. What matters is, this isn't a pro-whatever debate. A man was murdered for doing something legal. Really, even you pro-lifers should be outraged. :)

That is what happened. Whatever your view on abortion is, no one had the right to execute him. He was a legally licensed abortion doctor and even if he wasn't- guess what, they still wouldn't have the right to execute him, that would be the law's job if it came to that.

Not all pro-lifers are assholes, but if you think it's okay to murder an abortion doctor, then yeah,...

lol at the dramatic, sad, dare i say haunting, soundtrack. and that, ah, doctor is, ah, ah, very difficult to LISTEN TO -- hah-hah!

if a woman came in to terminate a pregnancy at 6 months bc she felt she couldn't go to rock concerts again, and that was the only reason, then i think it's safe to say that tiller wouldn't have found an unaffiliated doctor to sign off on the abortion. of course, that's assuming tiller would do the abortion in that case to begin with....

they interview two doctors and the harrassment and guard that they are under. they both have decoy cars and security detail. they pulled up sites where these kooks have posted their home addresses, google maps, their kids photos , license plate #'s and RL info.....it's terrorism.

WICHITA - George Tiller, the Wichita doctor who became a national lightning rod in the debate over abortion, was shot to death this morning as he walked into church services.

Tiller, 67, was shot just after 10 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church at 7601 E. 13th, where he was a member of the congregation. Witnesses and a police source confirmed Tiller was the victim.

No information has been released about whether a suspect is in custody....
