It is an El Nino year. That plus the record low Saharan Dust level, plus the Eastern Pacific Warming pattern in progress (as opposed to Central Pacific Warming), should lead to a low number of hurricanes....

If you had owned a greenhouse, you would have learned that denser atmospheres are capable of traping heat and, thus, engineering an environment separate and distinct from the environment outside that greenhouse.

The greenhouse allows for lush and even exotic plantlife in places which are perpetually colder and overcast.

Global warming/climate change is real world, measureable phenomena.

Visit a greenhouse. Or build one of your own. Start experimenting with different atmospheric concentrations. (This is aimed at people who don't understand global warming.) You'll learn a lot.

The US and other governments have to take big steps to decrease our output of carbon compounds into our atmosphere. We must preserve our country and our world for future generations.

I don't remember a colder spring in the last 20 years or so. We've had one, repeat, ONE plus-80 degree high temperature here in the far northern Illinois area so far this year. Its almost June and I still have to wear a sweatshirt in the mornings and evenings. WHAT THE FUCK??? I've seen so many cloudy and rainy days in the last 3 months I'm beginning to think I'm really in Seattle.
