Yeah, I'll post a complete update to this list after Samoa, just so that I can go in order from worst to best without worrying about changing peoples' positions due to the reunion.

Not completely true. I knew that Denise was going to vote for Courtney even before the final TC started. In addition, Denise didn't ask any questions and she told the 3 finalists that she was going to vote for Courtney.

Yeah, I did watch the F7 episode of China. The one where Amanda took the strategy that Todd suggested two rounds earlier and then gave Peih-Gee a chance to flip the script by telling her about it beforehand.

Amanda WAS a worse player than Todd, which in turn made her a worse player than Courtney. It doesn't matter how good of a player you are if all you do is play nice and never get targetted like she did, because pretty much ANYONE can be a sheep in Survivor and get to the end. And in fact, you can't even give Amanda credit for being a sheep because she, just by being who she naturally is, is a strong candidate to go deep in ANY season. The goal of Survivor is to not be voted off and to be the last one standing..no matter what. 18 (19 once Samoa airs) people have done this and they are the best players from their individual seasons. You can argue some people are more likable, better strategists, greater athletes, etc..but only one person each season comes out on top..and they are the best that season.

The "whoever wins is the best player because they ACCOMPLISHED the goal of winning!!!!1111111" notion is dumb simply because it ignores that luck plays a factor in how a season plays out. Its pointless even arguing this because you will keep repeating "the best player is the one who wins" and expect us to agree with you.

I think of the best player in the same way jack/mikester/Katy_C do.

And i agree Yul/Todd/Chris were not the best players...

Starting whenever. As mentioned in the other topic, this ranking is for fixing some mistakes I made the first time around, adding some new people, and generally working to make a better list in general. Plus, I'll upload the castaway images to imageshack so they don't wind up as red x's like they are in the other topic. I might re-rank the tribes or the seasons or those things, but for now, this topic is just for the 312 people to have played Survivor in the show's history,...
