Tocantins is the best season if:
Coach and Sierra were in final 2, Sierra won unanimously.
or
The girls snuffed all the Guys' torches.

Tocantins was definitely a downgrade from Gabon in hindsight. Pre-merge was frustrating (Tits #1, Tits #2, Sandy) and boring (Jerry, Spencer, Sydney). Merge consisted of that one guy being evacuated, and Timbira picking themselves off one by one. The exile alliance they spent all pre-merge setting up came to be nothing, and was never mentioned after Brendan. Taj's immunity idol was never used and never mentioned. I will say Tocantins return to more traditional rules made the story more...

that's so true. Tocantins had a lot of likeable people and we did like em, but we didn't love em.

I agree with the early merge comment. i am kind of shocked it hasn't been done yet. It would mix up things tremendously - everyone seems to build alliances of 5 people or less, but if you merge at 12 then 5 people is not a majority. The alliance would fail, I would laugh, fun would be had. Somebody make it happen!

Tocantins made me realize that Gabon wasn't that great of a season. I already miss this cast more than I ever did that of Gabon.

sadly, even though debbie was closest to erinn, debbie was still closer to jt. taj wouldn't want to appear to be bitter, and sierra never indicated that she liked erinn at all. Plus Brendan said that JT had a beautiful soul.
