They probably changed the last challenge away from an endurance test simply because Jeff probably had a temper tantrum and refused to stand by watching for hour after hour after hour.

Exactly, the final IC should be the hardest of them all, because it's the most important.

Sure it's boring for the contestants to stand on a log for hours, and for Jeff to watch it, but us viewers are spared that by the editors.

Please producers, go back to the endurance challenges!

Yeah, Jeff even mentioned that timing the drop was key. But I'm sure the rules stated you couldn't have more than 1 ball out of the contraption at any time (so N-1 balls had to be in the contraption).

I suppose when there was just 1 ball, you could have just held onto it until Jeff said to go to 2 balls.

Erinn was pretty dumb. With 3 balls, all she needed to do was put one ball into her mouth, and then rotate putting the 2 balls in. I don't think there were any rules stating that you needed to put all three balls into the contraption - they just couldn't hit the ground. What about putting a ball or two into her boobs? Ok, she doesn't quite have the means to do so with her chest size. Imagine if Candace was still in the game at this point <3.

It might have been sucky to not have an endurance challenge for the final three, but the ball-juggling shit nearly gave me an anxiety attack which is more than I can say for a lot of final ICs.

I just dont know ..it came up pretty lame id say ... they have teams of people who have day and night to think these challenges up... they coulda done better .. but this is coming from someone who would be happy seeing them bullfight or duel for the final immunity so ... anything is gonna be a letdown for me.

I loved the challenge. Very different than anything we'd seen before.

I was just upset that it ended so early. I wanted to see them doing 8 balls at a time for HOURS.

And that's not even sarcasm. I want to actually try it!

I hate what the final challenges have become in the past few years.
I really miss the endurance challenges. Sure, watching a couple of
idiots stand there for hours on end is boring but the deals were sweet!

Imagine if the final challenge in Palau had been juggling. How could Ian
have ever had the chance to stew for hours and how could Tom have had
the chance to stick it to him, convincing him to finally step down?

I think they avoided the endurance challenge because they don't want Erinn to deal with any of them because they want a JT - Stephen Final 2. Plus, endurance challenges takes a lot of time than those kind of challenges.
