Say what you will about Kris, but how ridiculous to have him sing a song which they even said was not written in his range. It's counterproductive and makes the show look bad, not to mention lowering sales.

No wonder "Walk Away" always sounded like such a mess.

Agreed. What they need to do next year is narrow it down to the 8 finalists or whatever like last year. Once they narrow it down to the final 8, then let the CONTESTANTS pick their own final song based on the Final 8. That way they get a song the contestants (more than likely) believes in and hopefully fits his/her voice better.
