I knew some guys who start companies. They asked me to help them start one up and we just went public last year. I am the CEO. Kind of fun. However, I hate all of the SEC filing and audit shit. We are hiring a CFO soon and I will be much happier getting that shit off my desk.

I was hanging out with some friends back in 95 and one of them asked me to help his brother with a computer problem. I fixed the guys computer a couple of times, when my friend talked his brother into hiring me and I have been working for him ever since. I work from home and make great money. I will probably stay here until I retire, cause it is a great set up for me.

I actually did fall into my current job. My MIL owns a Real Estate Company and she just called me up one night and said her secretary was quitting and offered me the job.

My husband had just passed the bar and wasn't crazy about the firm he was working with and I hated my job, so we decided in about 20 minutes to move an hour and a half away and I would take the job. I thought I had my dream job and it turned into a freakin' nightmare. Dream jobs exist because of great bosses/managers that bring out the best in a team of people. It's back to so-so job, which is a lot better than the nightmare experience.
