It wouldn't surprise me if it's Jack and company waking up next to a Swan crater in 2008. They won't know what year it is, wondering if it's the crater from the nuke, but it's the crater caused by the Hatch Implosion. They'll wonder how they survived, yada yada, then wander about eventually running into the fall-out from the Statue Party.

That is what I was trying to say I thought was happening.

Yeah, that's my theory too. Hell, that's been my theory ever since I started thinking the season would end with the bomb going off. So glad they have high-paid writers to come up with this stuff, lol.

The theory presented by some is that the time-travelers end up like Faraday's mouse, having memories of their future which hasn't happened yet. Meaning Seasons 1 through 5 are future events planted in their heads now. I'm not buying it.

I hope it's all a dream and we see Jack in the real world and hwo he knowqs all the other Losties in real life in different ways: Juliet's his neighborhood florist, Daniel's the wacky high school math teacher, Locke's the local butcher, Charlotte & Claire are Jack's possible lesbian neighbors, Charlie, Desmond & Hurley are his old frat buddies etc.

Why would it be Jack reliving the crash? We have nothing that points in that direction, really. If the bomb idea worked, then the plane will never crash. If it didn't work, the three outcomes are 1) they all died, 2) they lived, but nothing changed, and they are all laying around after the huge explosion, or 3) they all travel to the present and awake to see that they actually changed nothing, but did manage to get out of the past. I wouldn't consider them reliving the crash as a...

The other problem with a crash re-do is that Jacob was killed 3 years in the future from that. I'm totally expecting those events to be picked up where they left off. And I don't think we'll be seeing "3 Years Earlier", flashing back to the Crash Redo, then "3 Years Later", flashing up to the Statue Party.

Moments after the crash, just like the S1 season did. I just can't buy that, with all the actors no longer on the show. Could be the eye was just shown because it's iconic to the series.

Not sure why anyone is buying that.

Okay. Rewatched the S6 "promo" last night and the eye was the exact clip of Jack's from the S1 Pilot, as I posted above. So... perhaps the implication is that's how Season 6 will start. Moments after the crash, just like the S1 season did. I just can't buy that, with all the actors no longer on the show. Could be the eye was just shown because it's iconic to the series.

I was thinking the same thing when Jacob said they're coming. Jack and crew are coming back to there 'time.'

So was it the eye of Jack who started the series, Juliet who finished the season, Jacob the very important guy who just died, some other person whose names starts with "J" or does it even matter?

I immediately thought it was Juliet, but someone else said Jacob.

But then I thought about Jack opening his eyes all those years ago to start the series. Someone else said Jack's eyes are brown though (not sure if this is correct, just what they said) while The Eye...
