Can you go to the bank, consolidate your bills, pay off all the cards, and add it to your mortgage?

I'm doing a land contract, so I doubt that would work out so good. Nevermind that I haven't built up enough equity to do any good anyway.

wrt to people saying bk, a lot of other things depend on credit - mortgage rates, employers run credit, even apartment landlords run credit.

Another third came from helping out some of those weird friends I've posted about.

The rest came from odds and ends, like the occasional 2am burrito craving or the new stove because mine crapped out on me. New fridge too, not long after.

I miss having good credit.
