Juliet said the problem occurred at conception. That's right, she did too. So Sun may well have been doomed even if she ended up in a time before whatever force is causing pregnant women to die was in effect.

I THINK it was gone in 1974... I think it showed the full statue after the 2nd to last flash...they mentioned the statue and all looked at it...there was another flash...they looked over there again, and the statue was gone.
