I really love Mary. She has such a giving soul. They SUCK as racers on this show. You need to be physically and mentally fit. I'm 35 and I would have picked the climb instead of the rapids for the detour. Get yer ass in shape if you want to race!

It would have been nice if they at least were in a place other than 9th for their whole run. But hey, they broke the record of 9th placers being either only f/f or parent/child teams. David/Mary breaking records love.

Dave kicked butt at the fish RB and got them ahead of some of the other teams. It's too bad they didn't go back and check that sign they missed after that - they'd still be in the race. Good run though!

thanks for the info, kentuckygirl. i'm betting they're reading this too, but just in case please make sure they come and post here some when they're allowed! maybe prepare them that they might have to weather a few detractors who might sneak in this thread, but they seem tough and they definitely got some fans here!

anyway, they had a good run. i just loved their last confessional, with mary laughing and saying she loved david. i knew they were a'goin cause of spoilers but...

These two gotta be about the realest reality contestants ever. So refreshing after seeing all the Californians on Survivor. Especially love Mary, she seems so sweet and naive.
